I am currently looking for a Quality Engineer/Inspector to join a client based in LA on a contract.

You be working on aerospace and space qualified hardware, the ideal candidate would have around 2 years’ experience in the commercial world, however grad will be considered with relevant intern experience.



Technical Skills required:



Inspection Techniques: Proficiency in visual inspection, dimensional inspection, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and eddy current testing.



Metrology: Understanding of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other specialized tools.



Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics, including understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).



Quality Standards: Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and industry-specific standards like NADCAP for special processes.
