Mayo Clinic in Arizona performs over 800 solid organ transplants annually. The Transplant Center is known for its innovative approach to patient care, pioneering transplant research, and post-graduate education opportunities. A team of specialists in medical and surgical disciplines, including nursing, psychology, social work, respiratory/physical/occupational therapy, pharmacy, and nutrition, supports the transplant programs.


The Transplant Center and Division of Pulmonary Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona seeks a highly qualified, experienced transplant pulmonologist to join the initiation of our lung transplant program.


Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. The ideal candidates have interest/expertise in clinical practice for Lung Transplant patients as well as Advanced Lung diseases.


The successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team as we launch our program. Research engagement is highly encouraged including participation in clinical trials, utilization of artificial intelligence or big data, equitable care, and regenerative medicine. There are unique opportunities to grow clinical medicine utilizing the Mayo Clinic Model of Care and practice in one of the largest solid organ transplant programs nationwide as well as participate in innovation at Mayo Clinic.
