Type: Full-time (40 hours per week), 6-month contract (strong possibility of extension and perm options)


Hours: M-F, 8 AM to 5 PM (some flexibility with start/end time)


Location: Fully onsite in West Chester OH


Job Summary:

This position is responsible for requesting, reviewing, and following-up on documentation required for quality documentation on raw materials supplied to our client site. This role will be accountable for maintaining the accuracy of the supplier documentation database data. The role works closely with quality, procurement, and business stakeholders to facilitate sustained compliance in up-to-date documentation. This position reports to the US Regulatory Manager


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work within a team and manage changing priorities, and be able to track progress of inquiries.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with other departments.
  • Responsible for managing document control of raw material information:
  • FSVP- Request documents from suppliers, file appropriately.
  • Raw Material Checklists- Check status of documents on file, request missing documents, file documents, update spreadsheet.
  • Responsible for flagging and reporting problematic documents.
  • Responsible for completing Regulatory Document Change Review form as new documents are received.
  • Create and maintain Kosher and Halal certificates, including sending to customers as necessary.
  • Maintain Oracle databases with regulatory information and is responsible for accuracy of the information and develop the ability to spot potential issues and raise concerns.
  • If position continues past temporary stage, potential for training in specification, RT, and other document creation.


Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree: Science or Food Technology preferred.
  • Experience in Regulatory Affairs in the flavor and/or food ingredient industry preferred.
  • Additional Quality Assurance experience in same industries is highly desirable but not a prerequisite to this position.
