*Key Responsibilities for the Respiratory Therapist:*
* Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
* Complete documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness
* Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies.
* Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed.

*Key Requirements for the Respiratory Therapist:*
* Associates/ 2 year degree
* Professional competency in the science of Respiratory Care commensurate with the NBRC credential
* Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory care
* Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
* Licensed by the State Board of Medicine OR State Board of Osteopathic Medicine
* Must have BCLS/ BLS certification
* ACLS and/or NALS preferred
* Prior experience preferred

*Compensation and Schedule for the Respiratory Therapist:*
* Hourly rates dependent on certification (CRT or RRT) as well as years of experience
