We are seeking a skilled Lead Sign Fabricator to join our team. As a Lead Sign Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication of a variety of signs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to design specifications. You will also lead a small team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble signs according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain fabrication equipment and tools.
- Lead and supervise a team, assigning tasks and providing on-the-job training.
- Ensure quality control throughout the fabrication process.
- Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure accurate implementation of signage projects.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for fabrication.
- Uphold safety standards and protocols in the workshop.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sign fabricator or similar role, with expertise in sign fabrication techniques and materials.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in operating fabrication equipment such as CNC routers, laser cutters, and welding tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a workshop environment.
- Certification in related fields is a plus.
