**About the Role:**


Strategic Innovations Consulting LLC is preparing for future staffing needs and is currently seeking talent for the position of Speech Language Pathologist. This proactive recruitment effort aims to create a pool of qualified candidates for an upcoming role. The Speech Language Pathologist will be vital in diagnosing and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, helping them achieve better communication skills and improved quality of life.


**Key Responsibilities:**


- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in patients.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs.

- Provide direct therapy and intervention to patients using evidence-based practices.

- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills.

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and educators to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify potential communication disorders.

- Provide support and training to caregivers and family members.

- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.


**Ideal Candidate:**


- Proven experience as a speech language pathologist or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in developing and implementing speech therapy treatment plans.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Familiarity with speech-language pathology terminology and procedures.

- Discretion and confidentiality.


**Qualifications:**


- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a speech language pathologist or in a related role.

- Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Illinois preferred.

- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.

- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.

- Experience with various speech therapy tools and platforms is desirable.
