Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Semiconductor Process Equipment Technician with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, specifically in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) or semiconductor vacuum equipment. The successful candidate will possess technical proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining complex semiconductor equipment, along with the ability to work independently after on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, repair, and calibration of semiconductor process equipment, with a focus on PVD and vacuum systems.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to semiconductor equipment, interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, and ensure optimal functionality of the equipment.
  • Software Maintenance: Manage and maintain equipment control software to ensure seamless operation.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities and update technical manuals as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Semiconductor Process Equipment: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining PVD or semiconductor vacuum equipment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, troubleshoot both hardware and software, and perform diagnostics on semiconductor equipment.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting approximately 50 lbs, working in cleanroom environments, and handling physically demanding tasks.
  • Adaptability and Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel domestically (up to 25%) and potentially internationally for training and to accommodate flexible work shifts.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently following 3-6 months of on-the-job training.
