Job Title: Java/Go Developer

Location(s): Richmond VA, Mclean VA, New York, NY

Schedule: Hybrid- (onsite 3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday)

Contract Length:12 months+

Role Description:

  • Develop in Java, Go, and Python utilizing a variety of technologies including AWS, DevOps and SRE practices.
  • Utilize oral and written communication skills to share and align on technical designs.
  • Demonstrate urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion, all while tracking towards bigger OKRs.
  • Balance strategy and tactical delivery of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply) with Java. Hands On development experience with GO and Python as well.
  • At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Java, Go, Python.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
