Job Description:

Pay Range $65hr - $70hr

Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Java 1.5 to 1.8(minimum) with working knowledge of the custom-built jars.
  • Strong working experience in Java/J2EE applications.
  • Experience with deploying and debugging the applications on Orion, Jboss, and Tomcat servers is a must.
  • Oracle DB experience.
  • Working experience on the SOAP-based web service to integrate into the existing code is a must.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments (deploying applications, troubleshooting, SSL certificate installation, etc.) is a must.
  • JavaScript, BootStrap, JSP, and HTML are a must.
  • Production support.
  • Experience with ANT-based applications.
  • Good understanding of the client-server architecture, OS level, Application level, and VM architecture (Both Windows and Linux).
  • Should be able to perform the DevOps role (making the config changes, deploying the application to the Prod and other lower environments, etc.) when needed.
  • Understanding knowledge of the existing shell scripts.
  • Experience working on the Windows/Linux batch jobs and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Working experience with RHEL 5 and above is highly desired.
  • Working experience with Oracle DBMS 11g R2 and above.
  • Working experience installing and troubleshooting Oracle client connectivity components including tnsnames files and Oracle Insta client.
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot using open-source tools like Eclipse, Putty, Postman, etc.
  • Working experience on the Linux environment with Apache web server.
  • Hands-on experience understanding and troubleshooting the Java code flow with Struts 1.
  • Experience with ORM tools, hibernate in specific.
  • Working experience on the three-tier architecture.
Preferred:
  • Good working knowledge of Power Builder is preferred but not required (willing to learn).
  • Experience with migrating projects to different Java versions is preferred.
  • Tortoise SVN repository preferred.
