Electrical Engineer II is responsible to plan, maintain, and coordinate electrical maintenance, upgrades, new installs and day-to-day jobs. This position provides electrical engineering support to minimize downtime, increase profitability, and maintain compliance with government and environmental safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for the execution of electrical engineering in projects, ensuring compliance with customer contracts and specifications.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment to regulatory standards. Provide maintenance on existing systems to keep them running.
  • Complete electrical maintenance planning, budgeting, and upgrades for preventative maintenance. Perform reactive maintenance by completing root cause failure analysis and identifying how to prevent future issues.
  • Lead the electrical execution team in close collaboration with project engineering managers, project management, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor internal and external suppliers, handling electrical, I&C, and related layout interfaces.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 + years hands on experience in electrical engineering.
  • Experience working with electrical control systems.
  • Supervisory experience desired
  • Project Management experience desired
