Compensation: $65k - $70k
Schedule
Sunday - 10 am - 9 pm
Monday/Tuesday - 12 pm - 9 pm
Wednesday/Thursday - 10 am - 6 pm
*Salaried position; overtime required as needed*
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide daily hands-on support and leadership for the department.
- Administer daily job tasks to warehouse team.
- Assist Manager with quarterly counting and/or annual physical inventories using Warehouse Management System
- Coordinate team member tasks and responsibilities to receive, store, and load food products and support goods with established company standards
- Ensure a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirements
- Assist in compiling daily key indicators
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
- Review the load sheet and verify the accuracy of the assembled load
- Performs regular Gemba walks
As needed, fills in for Warehouse team members and performs tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals.
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience inwarehouse, manufacturing or production
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
- Basic understanding of 5S and Kaizen
- Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Walking in/ around the warehouse with great frequency; many facilities are over a quarter mile in length
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and moving totes up to 49 pounds
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures [33-38 degrees], and in environments with exposure to loud machinery
