Job Category Engineering & Science Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer like you to join our amazing Muscatine, IA Manufacturing plant. This position is onsite located in Muscatine, IA. Travel for this role is only 50% and is primarily to our Bandag manufacturing facilities in North America to install, maintain, and troubleshoot our own equipment. The Sr Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for installing, testing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment. This includes project management, equipment design, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This includes managing customer and contractor expectations, providing subject matter expertise to the project and ensure that all engineering and safety standards are maintained for each installation/project. We offer a rich benefits package, including Relocation Assistance. Pay Range: $96,000.00 - $160,000.00 Responsibilities Lead and manage equipment installation projects. Design and refine manufacturing equipment and processes. Collaborate with global teams and serve as a technical consultant. Maintain engineering documentation and provide training. Travel up to 50% to support domestic manufacturing sites. Preferred Qualifications Electro Mechanical Technology, Millwright or Industrial Mechanic background is a plus PLC experience in order to trouble-shoot and modify PLC's a plus Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Physics. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent). Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
