We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our social media presence across various platforms. This multifaceted role demands an organized, dependable, and responsive individual who can thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. This position will handle all social media and digital marketing, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing member, business, and community partnerships through marketing efforts. We are looking for a motivated and energetic Coordinator who will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the Chamber's social media to increase brand awareness, improve online engagement and increase visibility.

Duties:


- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement

- Create engaging content for posts, stories, and ads

- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages

- Analyze social media data to track performance and optimize strategies

- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing goals

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing

- Collaborate with the Chamber team to develop and implement a marketing calendar (to include social media, website, and e-blasts)

- Oversee all aspects of marketing, including the creation and design of marketing materials for the Chamber and Foundation, Chamber Luncheons, Membership, Annual Directory, and more

- Handle content management, writing, and design for the Chamber directory, website, and all social media content, including flyers, graphics, and weekly e-blasts

- Prepare monthly analytics reports on marketing data for Board presentations and committee meetings

- Maintain brand consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the Chamber's digital presence on all social media, website, and marketing collateral

- Daily Website management and Quarterly review with the team

- Respond to comments and messages on time


Events

- Attend all Chamber events, both morning and evening, to actively participate in our community.

- Capture photos and videos at networking events; load pictures from contract photographer for all major events and luncheons

- Work closely with the Events Coordinator to effectively market upcoming events and ensure all event needs are met for marketing and communications

- Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

- Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role

- Strong knowledge of E-commerce, Public Relations, and Digital Marketing principles

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator

- Familiarity with Mac OS.

- Experience in photography and video editing is a plus

- Familiarity with social listening tools and Google Analytics

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail for proofreading and editing social media content

- Proactive with the ability to self-manage, prioritize and problem-solve.

- Expertise in social media content creation.

- Proficiency in Canva.

- Experience with Hootsuite or a similar system.

- Familiarity with paid ads for all media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

- Experience with Asana or a similar system.

- Strong social listening skills to monitor conversations and gather insights

- Exceptional analytical, reasoning, and judgment skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
