About the Role: We are looking for a sharp and motivated Product Marketing Manager to join our Mobile Marketing team and grow our Baseball franchise in the Western market. This position is responsible for developing and executing all marketing and promotions in the Western market while ensuring that brands are accurately positioned and promoted. This includes development of the product marketing strategy, creative strategy, overall demand generation, budget management, and day-to-day execution of the marketing plan.



Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders alongside the development teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and marketing.
  • Initiate and prioritize brand and media projects or events.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging to effectively communicate unique value proposition of the game.
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer needs, market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Project manage roadmap, workback schedules and deliverables with relevant teams.
  • Gather and analyze data/feedback to understand consumer sentiment and make improvements to game.
  • Build long and short term budget plans while allocating resources and time in a transparent and fiscally responsible manner.
  • Create, own, track and collaborate on marketing and media campaigns over extended business cycles.
  • Provide practical and constructive perspectives that serve to highlight positive directives and avoid unnecessary risk or/and unexpected circumstances in order to support successful decision making by the executive and development teams.
  • Create, maintain and report KPIs around projects in collaboration with related teams.
  • Proactively communicate with teams and departments to ensure a smooth business and product life cycle.
  • Plan, attend and run events, offline hands-on opportunities and serve as a spokesperson for the brand upon media interviews [LH1].
  • Assist Production team with obtaining content rating from rating board such as ESRB.
  • Assist the production team by helping with beta testing, focus group, alpha testing, and other playtest sessions.
  • Collaborate with in-house resources such as Digital Ads operation, PR, Social, and Creatives.
  • Follow through on all external processing including ratings submissions, assets submissions to convention etc., within a timely manner to avoid any delays.


Qualifications:



  • A fan of Baseball (MLB, WBC, NCAA etc) who can talk to and understand other baseball fans.
  • Experience in Mobile F2P business desired.
  • Have 3-5 years of brand marketing experience in the video games industry with a successful track record of bringing products to market.
  • Experience working with licensors and licensed product.
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, conducting market research, managing strategic relationships and product lifecycles.
  • Understand F2P business models, DLC & Content campaigns and direct community KPI / ROI.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Possess flexibility with a can-do attitude and the ability to think two steps ahead.
  • Possess excellent project management skills to effectively track multiple deliverables across functional areas and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think creatively, identify problems, and offer solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Skills:



  • Familiar with information on baseball player stats and transfers.
  • Spanish fluency is a big plus.


Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree



Location: Hawthorne, CA



Travel: when occurs, mostly domestic travel. Domestic and International travel may be required. [LH1]This is more brand but hoping we can still have this person be the spokesperson if possible
