Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Experience: Minimum of 2 years with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience License: Completion of a relevant education program; Registered Technologist (RT) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Expertise in performing table movement (panning), arrhythmia recognition and treatment, and critical patient assessment skills Job Description: - Perform procedures and assist in various cardiac interventions in a Cath Lab environment - Work in a facility with 2 Cath labs and 2 Hybrid peripheral/OR - Deal with patient types including coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and various diagnostic Cath procedures - Operate and manage devices such as IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra - Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols - Support complex procedures including Laser and Lithotripsy Atherectomy - Ensure accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system, with preference for experience with Epic Cupid - Participate in a weekend rotation every fourth weekend - Be available for on-call duties 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend - Adhere to holiday expectations and request time off through the manager Please note: This position does not require floating. Orientation includes 4 days of 10-hour shifts. Applicants must live at least 100 miles from the facility. Uniforms in procedural colors are provided.
