Our Coaches are individuals who are looking for a career in the fields of Child Development or Early Childhood Education.JOB DESCRIPTION to include but not limited to:May coach between 2 - 17 soccer classes a week for children (depending on availability), ages 2 - 10, using the Soccer Shots program curriculum, at pre-designated parks and/or schoolsMaintains communication with parents/guardians through emailFacilitates and maintains positive relationships with schools, parents and guardiansParticipates in the Soccer Shots mentorship program, media events, and trainingsResponsible for running demo sessions in preschools, elementary schools, and parksHandles administrative duties, in office, approximately 1 - 2 hours a weekREQUIRED:A passion for educating childrenHave the ability to demonstrate soccer skills and movements during classesStrong verbal communication skillsThe ability to lift 40 poundsReliable transportation is a must, as Coaches may need to travel to any of our locations throughout San DiegoThe ability to communicate with the Soccer Shots administrative office while in the fieldProof of a TB Test within the past 2 years from the hire date OR proof of a TB Test taken within 1 month after the hire dateEDUCATION/TRAINING:Proof of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Units preferred before hire ORImmediate enrollment in the classes immediately after hire. Classes may be done on campus or online. We offer a tuition reimbursement to assist with these classes.Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification preferred before hire. Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification is required within 2 months of hire date.SALARY/BENEFITS:$17.00 - $20.00 per class instructed, startingMileage ReimbursementFlexible Schedule ideal for students or parentsLong Term Opportunities and TrainingPart Time Coaches are our first consideration for Full Time employmentEmployee background check required.
