We are seeking an experienced HCMS Integration Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the seamless integration of Workday with various external systems across Human Capital Management functions. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing integration solutions, supporting HR processes, and collaborating with teams such as IT, Security, and EPIC. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Workday integrations and will support both existing systems and the development of new integrations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify business requirements, design, develop, and optimize integration solutions within the Workday platform.
  • Analyze and solve complex business problems related to integrating the Workday cloud application with external systems across HCM areas.
  • Design, build, and support Workday integration code using tools like Workday Studio, Extend, and EIB, as well as 3rd party coding support.
  • Provide daily maintenance for integration support issues and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Identify and escalate risks, and propose alternative technical solutions when necessary.
  • Document and develop procedures for all technical aspects of integrations.
  • Collaborate with teams like IT, Security, and EPIC to ensure Workday is properly set up and optimized for various business groups.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently using strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures for assignments.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience supporting existing Workday integrations and building new integrations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Workday Expertise: Strong proficiency in Workday integrations, including experience with tools like Extend, Studio, and EIB.
  • Integration Support: Experience supporting Workday integrations across various HCM areas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience with Workday Extend and third-party coding support.
  • Experience with Boomerang Integration (data clean-up).
  • Familiarity with supporting payroll integrations (especially UKG).
  • Healthcare industry background.
