Supply Chain/Procurement Analyst (Contract)
Miami, FL
Compensation: $60/hour
Contract length: 6 months with opportunity to move to a permanent role
Standard working hours: 8 hours/day

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Procurement Analyst to support the Latin America & Caribbean Procurement (LAC) team. This role will be pivotal in providing support and analytical insights for their distribution strategy, and will be required to identify opportunities and influence key stakeholders to execute on procurement decisions and supply initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies tailored to the Latin America & Caribbean market, specifically for Food, Beverages, and Paper/Packaging categories, as well as Indirect Categories like Chemicals and Smallware's
- Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends and inform decision-making. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage relationship with consolidators (3PLs) in the United Sates, including logistic SLAs, reporting, and continuous improvement programs
- Work closely with Marketing, Quality Assurance, Global Procurement, Legal, and Innovation teams to align on sourcing strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, conducting supplier assessments, and managing vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market conditions, ensuring the LAC team is well-informed of industry trends and pricing dynamics.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements within procurement and supply chain operations, recommending solutions to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.
- Support the LAC team in ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to procurement, while also identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, International Distribution, and/or Procurement preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing financial models to analyze cost savings opportunities to determine viability and profitability
- QSR, food processing, retail or CPG experience preferred
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and vendor management practices.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements in the Latin America & Caribbean region is a plus.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese required
