Position Overview:

My client is seeking a talented and driven Analyst and or Associate to join the FIG Depositories Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to dive deep into the financial services sector, specializing in depository institutions. From conducting in-depth analysis to providing strategic advice, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position offers unparalleled exposure to the world of finance and ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of depository institutions, including banks and credit unions, to support strategic decision-making and transaction execution.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, assess risks, and forecast performance.
  • Assist senior team members in conducting due diligence, preparing pitch materials, and executing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics affecting depository institutions, and provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of transactions and delivery of client solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other key stakeholders, representing the firm with professionalism and integrity.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial services, with a focus on FIG strongly preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe) preferred.
