This is a remote, U.S. based role that requires a high level of independence, initiative, and accountability, operating away from our Canadian head office in Burnaby, BC.What You'll DoActively manage a portfolio of clients within the Washington territory, focused on large-scale construction projects (up to $500M in value), through all stages of the sales cycle including prospecting, solution development, negotiation, and closeBuild and maintain strong relationships with glaziers, architects, general contractors, developers, and other key stakeholdersLead structured, technically oriented presentations and site visits to influence decision-makersProvide technical advice, interpret specifications, review quotes for accuracy, and gather competitive intelligenceIdentify and qualify new opportunities using project tracking tools, market research, and industry networksCollaborate with Estimating, Production, and Project Management teams to develop tailored, technically sound solutionsMaintain detailed records and pipeline tracking in CRM systems such as HubSpotPrioritize multiple projects at various stages of development with strong time management and closing skillsRepresent Garibaldi Glass at job sites, client offices, and industry events with professionalism and authorityProvide coaching and technical guidance to internal stakeholders when delegation is requiredWhat You Bring5 or more years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in construction, building materials, or related technical industriesProven success managing mid- to large-scale projects within projects valued between 25M to 500M (preferred)Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle and stakeholder dynamicsPost-secondary education in business, construction management, or a related field (preferred)High attention to detail, with a disciplined, self-directed approach to achieving resultsTechnically proficient with MS O365, CRM platforms such as HubSpot, and digital research toolsClear, concise communicator with a task-focused, analytical mindsetAbility to make authoritative decisions within defined guidelines and follow through with precisionFamiliarity with the Washington construction market and regional stakeholders is an assetSuccess in This Role Looks LikeConsistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsDelivering high-quality, technically sound solutions to clientsBuilding long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholdersNavigating complex sales cycles with confidence and structureBecoming a respected technical expert in the Washington marketWork Environment and TravelRemote or field-based with regular site visits and industry events across WashingtonOccasional head office time for planning and trainingFast-paced, structured environment with clear expectationsOperates independently with support from cross-functional teams based in CanadaRegional travel required; some Canada or U.S. travel expectedValid driver's license, U.S. passport, and reliable transportation requiredCompensation and BenefitsBase salary range: $90,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experiencePerformance-based commission structureBenefits include:Health and dental coveragePaid Time Off (PTO)Travel and mileage reimbursementCompany tools and ongoing trainingSalary Transparency The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $125,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geographic location, and business needs.
