Overview:

Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer experienced in managing complex system and infrastructure challenges at a dynamic organization. Responsibilities include leading system enhancements, optimizing automation processes, mentoring team members, contributing to capacity planning, evaluating new technologies, and participating in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead design and implementation of high-availability systems across data centers and cloud environments.

- Drive automation initiatives for deployment and maintenance processes.

- Provide technical guidance to resolve escalated issues promptly.

- Collaborate with leadership to define technical requirements and roadmap.

- Perform performance analysis and optimization to enhance system efficiency.

- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

- Prioritize tasks to minimize downtime impact on customers.

- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident response.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

- 8+ years in system engineering with enterprise-level solution experience.

- Expertise in designing highly available and fault-tolerant systems.

- Proficiency in Linux, Windows server administration, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Strong knowledge of containerization, microservices, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).

- Deep understanding of network security principles and best practices.

- Project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Commitment to continuous learning and keeping pace with emerging technologies.
