They own many of the most trusted brands in the air transportation industry, including LEKTRO, JetAire, JetPower, AmpTek, Jetway, and more.The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all potential Passenger Boarding Bridge Project opportunities in a specified area. The area this account manager would be responsible for would be concentrated to the airports in or near the central US region. Travel is expected and can be up to 35%. The job consists of interfacing with customers (Airports, Airlines and General Contractors) during the bid phase through manufacture and delivery if needs be. You will also need to be out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary. The role is fully remote but must live either in Utah or the central part of the US.Meet with customers, architects, specification writers, and industry specialists to promote Jetway products and services.Your Impact:Book, plan and represent Oshkosh AeroTech Jetway at industry shows and conventionsConduct written and verbal communication with customers, agents and write needed supporting documentation for project bid submissionsReview tender documentation in detail and ensure that all required submittal materials are included with associated proposalsCoordinate with Bids & Proposal department to develop, understand and effectively communicate the scope of workSupport and assist Bids & Proposals Team with efforts, receiving or downloading, logging, distributing and control of tender documentation from customersWork in the companys sales software tool and data entry to support projects and forecastingGain a technical understanding of our products. Be able to discuss product options as well as have a basic understanding of the preperformance characteristicsDevelop and update proposal submittals and technical write-ups, coordinate with Bids and Proposals Department with the final proposal submittalCommit to deadlines, working overtime when necessaryInteract and assist other Jetway departments with requests for dataDevelop, maintain and analyze historical data regarding departmental performanceObtain, organize and distribute competitive information to the sales forceParticipate in internally focused cross-functional teams in product design and development processMust know and understand market customer base and key players within itUnderstand strengths and weaknesses to better position Oshkosh AeroTech productsDevelop and maintain detailed analysis of the competitive landscapeAssist in the definition of the product strategy roadmapAssist in writing sales and promotional materialsBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field8 or more years related experienceAbility to travel with short notice and the availability for potential extensive travel as requiredValid PassportProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software applicationsTravel up to 35%Pay Range: $91,800.00 - $153,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidates experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
