Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Technology Manager Hybrid (Wilmington, DE)Workday Environment | Leadership OpportunityA well-established, forward-thinking organization is seeking an experienced HRIS Technology Manager to lead and enhance its Human Resource Information Systems function. This is a hybrid role based in Wilmington, Delaware, with on-site work required Tuesday–Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.This position has become available due to an internal transition, with strong support from leadership and a full handover scheduled through January. The incoming HRIS Manager will oversee a talented team and serve as the key strategic and technical Workday expert for the organization.Why This Opportunity Stands OutSupportive, collaborative, and welcoming cultureStrong commitment to learning, development, and career advancementExceptional benefits—including discounted travel, wellness perks, and a premier membership programCompetitive compensation, annual bonus, and robust retirement matchKey ResponsibilitiesLead the strategic direction, administration and optimization of HRIS, with a strong emphasis on Workday.Serve as the critical liaison between HR, Payroll, and IT for system enhancements, integrations, data management, and problem resolution.Oversee reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives to drive data-informed HR decisions.Manage system security, configurations, business processes, integrations, data loads, and ongoing system support.Direct and mentor a team of HRIS Senior Analysts and a Senior Developer.Ensure system integrity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with data governance standards.Partner with HR leadership across Compensation, Payroll, Learning & Development, and Benefits.Lead full lifecycle management of HRIS enhancements, testing, and implementation efforts.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.8–10 years of HRIS experience, with significant hands-on Workday expertise.3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.Strong knowledge of HRIS technology, integrations, reporting, and system administration.Proven ability to analyze complex processes and deliver scalable solutions.Effective communicator with experience influencing senior HR leaders.Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.Industry experience not required. Workday certifications a plus.
