Aquabella Tile is a nationwide authority of premium porcelain tile, glass tile, and stone pavers and coping products primarily used for pool, spa and backyard entertainment.

Summary:

We are currently seeking a team player to fill the position of Senior Purchasing Agent in our Houston, TX location. Growing responsibilities are not limited to, but will include: create and maintain accurate bill of material & inventory valuation, monitoring supply consumption and stock levels, help coordinate inter-warehouse transfers, audit of inventory adjustments and cycle counts, supports supply chain and international import efforts.

Aquabella Tile is a growing company with showrooms and warehouses throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have inventory and operations experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Pay will depend on experience.

Key Overall Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials
  • Maintain Standard cost and review purchase price variances
  • Inventory trends and purchasing for stock replenishment
  • Audit inventory adjustments and cycle count efforts
  • Support inter-warehouse transfers
  • Support international imports efforts
  • Month-end reports and reconciliation

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Strong understanding of inventory and inventory experience, a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Strong analytical skills, pays attention to details and excellent communication skills
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Proficient computer experience, including MS office Word, Excel, Outlook is expected. MS Power BI or other database tool is ideal
  • Great with time management, written communication, multitasking and able to work independently
  • Fluent with inventory, warehouse and accounting principles and transaction flow within an ERP system
  • Professional, reliable and trustworthy
