This role will assist in the execution of all retail marketing programs and initiatives across our 350+ Core C-stores and our flagship Alltown Fresh stores. ‘Gauges‘ of Responsibility

  • Assist in the execution of a robust retail marketing strategy for our retail locations, including content development, in-store signage, promotional planning, culinary initiatives, event planning, and more.
  • Assist in the development of promotional signs for new and recurring marketing campaigns and promotions including creative direction, distribution, shipping, tracking and store communication.
  • Manage inventory of marketing collateral to support the needs of new and existing stores
  • Fulfill store sign/collateral requests.
  • Assist in maintaining a 12-month rolling calendar of promotions.
  • Support new store opening marketing efforts.
  • Assist in attracting and retaining guests through creative activations and ‘boots on the ground‘ efforts.
  • Contribute to marketing programs that engage guests in a meaningful way.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends and develop new ideas for campaigns and to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, merchandising, and corporate communications, to ensure alignment of marketing.
  • Assist in the evaluation and optimization of marketing programs.
  • Apply ‘lessons learned‘ and continuously improve the way work is developed and delivered, providing feedback and implementing changes to optimize internal processes.
  • Assist Retail Marketing team with ad hoc requests (pulling UPC‘s for promotions, reporting, sourcing giveaways, ordering loyalty cards, distributing marketing collateral to stores).

Qualifications

  • College education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar discipline
  • 3+ years Marketing experience required. Retail background is a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong interest or familiarity with the marketing creative process
  • Understanding of hospitality and retail marketing highly desired
  • Interest in consumer behavior and the competitive landscape
  • Extremely well organized
  • Knowledge of basic budget management and the ability to track program successes
  • Strong desire to see projects through from inception to completion
  • Proven multitasker who thrives on working in a fast-paced, multi-deliverable environment
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to liaise at all levels
  • Self-starter comfortable working remotely
