Hogsalt is seeking a Full-Time HVAC and Refrigeration Repair Technician to support our current restaurants in New York.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in-field experience with commercial HVAC and Refrigeration
  • Knowledge of kitchen facilities and equipment is preferred
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, as well as have a working knowledge of electrical systems
  • Individuals with hotel maintenance experience are encouraged to apply
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Manhattan or provide a reliable vehicle
    • Hogsalt covers on-duty parking expenses
    • Compensation for travel mileage
    • Must have a valid driver's license
  • EPA Universal Certification is required

Shift and Schedule:

  • Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Set weekly schedule
    • Sunday- Thursday
    • Early morning to early afternoon
  • 8-hour workday is typical 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs in the following areas. Some familiarity with associated manufacturers is preferred
    • HVAC - LG, Daikin, Captive Aire, Accurex, 
    • Refrigeration - Glastender, Continental, Cooltec
    • Plumbing - Toto, Crown, Everpure
    • Electrical - Siemens, Square D, Eaton
    • Kitchen equipment - Rational, Jade, Pitco, Southbend
  • General restaurant maintenance
  • Respond to maintenance requests from restaurants in a timely fashion
  • Perform regular property inspections
  • Work well independently and on a team 
  • Advise restaurant managers on a variety of technical engineering issues
  • Report to Facilities Director and Facilities Manager

Experiencia y calificaciones:

  • Mínimo de 2 años de experiencia en el campo con HVAC y refrigeración comercial.

  • Se prefiere el conocimiento de las instalaciones y equipos de cocina.

  • Capaz de leer e interpretar planos, esquemas y diagramas de cableado, así como tener conocimientos prácticos de sistemas eléctricos.

  • Se anima a las personas con experiencia en mantenimiento de hoteles a postularse.

  • Debe poder viajar de manera confiable a Manhattan o proporcionar un vehículo confiable

    • Hogsalt cubre los gastos de estacionamiento de servicio

    • Compensación por kilometraje de viaje

    • Debe tener una licencia de conducir valida

  • Se requiere certificación universal de la EPA

Turno y Horario:

  • Debe estar disponible para trabajar hasta 40 horas por semana.

  • Establecer horario semanal

    • Domingo Jueves

    • Desde primera hora de la mañana hasta primera hora de la tarde

  • La jornada laboral de 8 horas es típica

Responsabilidades laborales:

  • Realice reparaciones en las siguientes áreas. Se prefiere cierta familiaridad con los fabricantes asociados.

  • HVAC - LG, Daikin, Aire Cautivo, Accurex, 

  • Refrigeración - Glastender, Continental, Cooltec

  • Plomería - Toto, Crown, Everpure

  • Electricidad - Siemens, Square D, Eaton

  • Equipos de cocina: Rational, Jade, Pitco, Southbend

  • Mantenimiento general de restaurantes

  • Responder a las solicitudes de mantenimiento de los restaurantes de manera oportuna.

  • Realizar inspecciones periódicas de la propiedad.

  • Trabajar bien de forma independiente y en equipo. 

  • Asesorar a los gerentes de restaurantes sobre una variedad de cuestiones de ingeniería técnica.

  • Reporte al Director de Instalaciones y Gerente de Instalaciones
