Job Overview
Join a leading Series C enterprise SaaS and developer tools startup, backed by premier venture capital firms, as the VP of Legal. This pivotal, full-time role is based in New York City. You will have the unique opportunity to spearhead the development of a comprehensive legal framework that supports the company's rapid growth and ongoing innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the legal team, reporting directly to the CEO.
- Develop and maintain a robust legal framework that includes managing contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property rights, data privacy laws, HR legal concerns, licensing, and compliance issues.
About You
- You have 4-8 years of experience with emerging company/venture capital legal matters, whether from a law firm or an in-house role.
- You have a proven track record of managing complex legal operations within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- $250-285k base + bonus + stock option grant.
