We are currently seeking a dynamic Technical Marketing Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing Secure Access Service Edge SASE business.You would act as a Technical Marketing Engineer and would be the global subject matter expert for one or more Fortinet products primarily focused on but not limited to the area of SASE. The TME is expected to mostly work on-site in Fortinet's Santa Clara office.As a Technical Marketing Engineer, your responsibilities will include:The role requires the person to be the subject matter expert for SASE (SSE, ZTNA, CASB, DLP...etc). The TME will collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Marketing and Sales.The TME would work closely with the PM and PMM to provide technical direction and validation on any campaign assets that are in development. Another key function would be providing the PM with competitive assessments based on industry research or hands-on with competitive products.The TME is expected to provide guidance and answer technical field questions for Sales via email or collaboration tools. The TME will provide product live product demos within the Executive Briefing center and industry events. The TME will be responsible for building and maintaining demo systems to help promote the understanding and adoption of the products or technologies under their care.The TME would be part of a larger group of Fortinet experts that evangelize their products or solutions through creation of assets such as videos and white papers and delivering/assisting in webinars.Must have at least 3-5 years cybersecurity background and at least 1-2 years SASE background in a TME, SE/CSE, Support or QA role.Good communication and presentation skillsCompetitive Analysis & KnowledgeCompetitive Content/CollateralThe ability to quickly learn new technologies and productsTechnical expertise in SASE solutions for Enterprise networksExpert and real-world hands-on knowledge in the following network security products such as SSE, Firewalls, NOC/SOC, ZTNA, SD-WAN, CASB, DLPKnowledge in Switches, Wireless Access Points, and Network Access Control (NAC) is a plus.A university degree is preferred, but not mandated. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion.
