16 - 20 hours per week - part time


Position Overview: Under the direction of the Manager, Corporate EEO, this position is responsible for partnering with HR, Legal, the Office of Compliance and Ethics, and the business to ensure compliance with related legal and regulatory requirements. This role will also handle both EEO and non-EEO internal investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

Complaint Investigation:

  • Intake and investigate internal EEO/ER complaints from the Compliance Hotline, Manager Resource Team, and EEO Office.
  • Review harassment and discrimination complaints and recommend steps to resolve concerns.
  • Assist in the investigation of EEO-related agency charges and draft written responses.
  • Manage cases, ensuring timely responses and progression towards resolution.
  • Provide advice to business leaders on equal opportunity policy.

Reporting:

  • Prepare written investigation summaries and reports.
  • Prepare statistical reports in preparation for trend analyses.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience conducting investigations and/or EEO investigations.
  • Experience with Case Management Systems and/or Complaint Tracking Systems.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of federal/state regulations related to employment and employee relations matters, including but not limited to EEO/AA, ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough and efficient investigations.
  • Excellent judgment with the ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Skilled in investigation and conflict management.
  • Ability to objectively and analytically assess issues.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret facts.
  • Technology-savvy with high competency in MS Office; Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and other analytics.

Communications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
