Project Executive - Data Center


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center / Mission Critical Construction Project Executive to lead and oversee our clients organization's critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data center construction, project management, and mission-critical facility requirements. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex data center projects, meeting stringent performance, reliability, and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for data center construction projects, aligning with organizational goals and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.


Project Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end project management process, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.


Technical Expertise:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data center construction principles, including power and cooling systems, electrical distribution, and mechanical infrastructure.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.


Client Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns or changes in project requirements.
  • Foster positive client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.


Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing project team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the project team.


Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold the highest standards of construction and facility performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications.


Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring that all construction activities adhere to legal and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale data center construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of mission-critical facility requirements, including power, cooling, and redundancy.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute Tier Standards and ASHRAE guidelines.
  • PMP or relevant project management certification is a plus.
