Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Branch Manager/Territory Sales. The Branch Manager/Territory Sales will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, coordinating with various departments, and achieving sales targets. The role is located in Pocatello, ID.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the branch. With the ability to manage a small-scale operation and grow it
  • Manages sales in the branch
  • Generates Cold Calls to develop new accounts and add them to the database
  • Contacts customers to achieve maximum sales and profit for the company

  • Develops, implements, and executes a marketing plan for an assigned customer base
  • Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations and quotations to include the follow-up necessary to secure the business
  • Generates Cold Calls to develop new accounts and add them to the database
  • Plan and implement strategies to obtain maximum efficiency of resources and the highest level of profitability
  • Reviews strategies daily. Presents and reviews strategies with the managers weekly
  • Hires, trains, and supervises all branch personnel
  • Regularly holds (Monthly) reviews with the branch team members
  • Trains all team members in practices, policies, and procedures to elevate the success of our customers while also maintaining the profit and success of our company 
  • Oversees vehicle use in the branch
  • Stays informed on all Manufacturer's products and policies
  • Manages and protects all company assets including:
  • Inventory
  • Accounts receivables
  • Other fixed assets
  • Other responsibilities as directed by the Company


ADMINISTRATIVE JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervises all accounting functions in the branch
  • Correcting billing and pricing errors
  • Making sure that all bills are submitted for payment promptly
  • Matching receipts to all statements and ensuring their accuracy
  • Submitting all accounting items promptly
  • Assist Accounts Receivables in collecting funds
  • Confirm all expenses for accuracy
  • Accurately placing orders for inventory and receiving orders upon arrival
  • Maintaining an accurate Inventory
  • Assist in updating the pricing on the computer and website
  • Assist in the creation of programs, catalogs, and website information
  • Make sure that the branch functions accurately and smoothly to take care of our customers
  • Other items needed to assist the company 
  • Learn and be able to use the current DMS software


NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain a clean works place
  • Data entry and various office duties


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Reach to answer phones
  • Read paperwork, files, and records on the computer
  • Communicate by phone and in person
  • Walking and moving about on foot
  • Hear well enough to receive communication by phone or in person
  • Bend body downward and forward by bending at the knees and waist
  • Remain in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook 
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer technology as needed
  • Business management experience at a branch or other individual profit center, with profit and loss responsibility a plus
  • Effective leadership, motivational, organizational, and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in construction equipment
