Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of utility services to ensure uninterrupted supply and compliance with regulations.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for utility operations, forecasting future needs, and controlling costs to ensure financial efficiency.

Contract Management: Negotiate and manage commodity contracts with utility service providers, vendors, and contractors to secure favorable terms and ensure quality service.

Safety and Compliance: Implement safety protocols and emergency response plans for utility systems to protect public health and safety.

Staff Leadership: Lead and manage utility specialist and coordinate with facilities, finance and legal.

Project Management: Plan and oversee infrastructure projects, such as new clubs, fuel stations, lighting upgrades, solar systems, EV chargers etc.

Sustainability: Monitor and manage utility consumption, validating and reporting data to meet SEC reporting requirements and demand response programs.

Solar program: Management and expansion of existing and future solar systems.

Qualifications:

Education: Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Experience: Several years of experience in utility management or a related field.

Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills.

At BJs Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
