The person will be responsible for the design and development of natural gas distribution pipe replacement projects.


Will develop functional requirements to eliminate risks in natural gas system. The ideal candidate will understand and applies standard engineering principles. The person will be creating operating procedures to support complex tasks.


Location: Denver, CO or Pueblo, CO

Hybrid position_ in office Tues, Wed and Thu.


Responsibilities

  • Will work with other employees using Auto CAD
  • Will work with Procedures (technical writing)
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with peers and project stakeholders including both field and office personnel.
  • Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes. Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
  • Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements



Requirements

  • 4 yr. engineering degree required.
  • MS Suite – specifically with Excel
  • Problem solving
  • Critical thinking
  • Team player/work
  • Utility experience is a plus
