We are looking to bring on 1 qualified Industrial Electrician to our client’s team in Kent, WA. In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment, mechatronics, and industrial control support systems. This is a direct-hire position.


Compensation: $40 - $47/hr, DOE


Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, OR Tuesday - Saturday 5 pm - 1:30 am

*Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays


Location: Kent, WA


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Accurately read and reference mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Maintain open communication with maintenance colleagues and production management
  • Complete assigned work orders promptly and document relevant information
  • Provide necessary information for maintaining a proper inventory of parts
  • Collaborate with production operators to identify process improvements
  • Perform all work safely, following company safety policies
  • Assist with other responsibilities as needed


Requirements:

  • Experience as a journey-level electrician is strongly preferred
  • Having an associates degree or 4-year apprenticeship in industrial electrical/electronics is strongly preferred; a High School diploma or GED required
  • The ability to climb, bend, stoop, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • The ability to carry tools and parts up flights of stairs or ladders and work from personnel lifts
  • Must have the ability to work in confined spaces
  • Computer literacy and good verbal/written communication skills are required
