Position Title: Remote Trucking Dispatcher


Location: Remote


Job Description: As a Remote Trucking Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the movement of our fleet across various routes. Using our state-of-the-art dispatching software and real-time monitoring tools, you will ensure timely deliveries, minimize downtime, and respond effectively to unforeseen challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with drivers to assign routes and schedules.
  • Monitoring truck movements and adjusting routes as necessary.
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates on delivery statuses.
  • Resolving logistical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Utilizing GPS and other tracking systems to monitor fleet activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a trucking dispatcher or in a similar logistics role.
  • Familiarity with dispatching software and GPS tracking systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • High-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
