Treasury Analyst I, Treasury Services, Baptist Downtown

Job Posting Summary Baptist Health is looking to add a Treasury Analyst I in our Treasury Services Department at Baptist Downtown. As a Treasury Analyst I at Baptist Health, you'll support the organization's financial operations by managing daily cash reporting and assisting with cash management activities, ACH and wire transactions, and month-end close processes. You'll prepare bank reconciliations, support treasury and financial reporting, and contribute to projects that help optimize cash flow and ensure financial accuracy. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and analytical, with strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Treasury Analyst I, you will be responsible for: Supporting day-to-day treasury responsibilities including cash management, ACH/wires, month-end close duties, bank reconciliations, as well as other various treasury and financial reporting duties. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Power-Point. Must be insightful, consistent, and possess considerate communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and written. Works on projects and matters of moderate complexity. Assist in the preparation for low complexity monthly bank reconciliations for the health system. Research all variances and help resolve/correct Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end treasury related accounting close activities. Such activities may include the preparation of low complexity journal entries to record cash transactions for the health system; cash reconciliation; and various types of reporting Monitoring daily bank balances, tracking, and reporting of the health system's cash position while supporting the cash forecasting process. Support compliance requests such as KYC documentation, ban resolution, and signatories. Assist in the monitoring of bank fees. Support bank account management. Support treasury functions such as sending ACH/wire/checks while ensuring all safeguards are in place to prevent fraud; issuing deposit slips, stamps, and credit card devices to various departments. Perform day-to-day cash management duties which may include managing petty cash, armored truck services, tracking costs. Support the management of all merchant accounts, including the establishment of new accounts and closing of obsolete accounts. Support and monitor the health system's compliance with all banking regulations, PCI Compliance, as well as internal policies and procedures. Assist as needed in new debt & investment issuance, help monitor debt payments, assist in setting up the debt payments, track payments, gather information for auditors, and other duties as assigned. Assist in low complexity annual audit support related to treasury. Support treasury and leadership in additional treasury related assignments and reports.
