Position Overview:

As the Racks and Cabinets Specialist at Canovate, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of our industry-leading racks and cabinets across global markets. Leveraging your expertise in data center infrastructure and your familiarity with competitors such as Rittal, Wesco, ABA, Chatsworth, and Anixter, you will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to position Canovate as the preferred choice for racks and cabinets solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes within the data center racks and cabinets segment.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to expand market share, increase revenue, and achieve sales targets for racks and cabinets products.
  3. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including data center operators, IT professionals, and procurement managers, to understand their requirements and offer tailored solutions.
  4. Product Positioning: Articulate the unique value proposition of Canovate racks and cabinets compared to competitors, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  5. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to showcase Canovate racks and cabinets solutions, addressing customer pain points and demonstrating alignment with their business objectives.
  6. Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline for racks and cabinets products, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closure, using CRM tools to track progress and drive sales effectiveness.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
  8. Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand into new markets and verticals, leveraging existing networks and forging partnerships with distributors and resellers.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven track record of success in sales roles within the data center industry, with a focus on racks and cabinets products.
  3. Strong understanding of data center infrastructure solutions, including racks, cabinets, cable management, and power distribution.
  4. Familiarity with competitors such as Rittal, Wesco, ABA, Chatsworth, and Anixter, with a demonstrated ability to differentiate Canovate products in the marketplace.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  6. Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  7. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support sales activities and customer engagements.
