Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Reston Pediatric Associates. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, rooming patients, taking vitals, administering vaccines, doing lab work, and assisting the providers in providing quality healthcare. The Registered Nurse will also document patient information, educate patients and families, and ensure a safe and caring environment.

The ideal candidate possesses multi-tasking skills, pays attention to detail, is compassionate, is reliable, and is able to communicate with patients and parents in a friendly and professional manner.


Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience in pediatric nursing
  • Knowledge of pediatric healthcare practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a healthcare team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus
