Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Medical Care Unit. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
  • Provide patient and family education on healthcare management, medication administration, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families throughout the care continuum.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
