Overview:

  • The primary focus of the Social Worker role is to coordinate resident's stay through the admissions, discharge and MDS process. Provides crisis intervention and assists families in understanding the implications and complexities of the life situation and its impact on lifestyle. Provides professional social work assistance to clients and families as related to illness, disease, hospitalization, financial and educational wishes by utilizing a variety of modalities in all areas of service.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work from accredited college or university.
  • Completion of a social work internship is required.
  • Must be Licensed SW (BSW or MSW) in the state of Maryland.
