Pediatric Social Worker LCSW Position at Potomac Pediatrics

Potomac Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to provide high-quality services to children, teenagers, and young adults. This role involves collaborating with the staff Psychiatrist and the patient's Pediatrician in our Primary Care Psychiatry approach. Services will primarily focus on individual therapy, with opportunities for family and group sessions, and will be available only to primary care patients.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland (LCSW, LCSW-C)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience in pediatric outpatient settings (preferred)
  • Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family/Group therapy
  • Experience with Exposure Therapy (preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate in a team and contribute to treatment planning

Job Details:

  • Full-time/Part-time
