Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a 15-passenger Mercedes Sprinter shuttle van to transport passengers between (3) scheduled stops within San Diego County and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with scanning tickets and loading/unloading luggage

- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable ride

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle van

- Calmly and promptly troubleshoot passenger concerns

Shift times (approximately):

  • 12:30PM – 8:30PM: THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS
  • 8:00AM – 4:00PM: SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS
  • ROTATING SHIFT: MONDAYS


Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver's license class A or B (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement and a clean driving record

- Previous experience as a bus driver, shuttle driver, van driver, or delivery driver preferred

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with passengers

- Fluent in English for effective communication with passengers

- Knowledge of local roads and routes is a plus

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug test along with passing random drug tests per CPUC regulations

- Must maintain a clean driving record – employer will pull driving record (EPN via DMV)
