Paid Social Manager


One of The Sage Group’s clients is looking for a Paid Social Manager. Client is the world’s leading professional video platform and community.


As client’s Manager, Paid Social, you will be responsible for monitoring, reporting on and helping grow and optimize LinkedIn and Meta campaigns. We are looking for a quantitative mind with a passion for digital marketing. This position directly ties to client’s overall growth and revenue goals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing Paid Social ad campaigns across platforms, and delivering on KPIs. This is a long term contract role, with potential for full time hire.


What you’ll do:


  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics
  • Perform daily account management of LinkedIn ad accounts
  • Monitor, maintain and optimize audiences, ads, budget caps, and KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help implement and test creative, audiences and landing pages
  • Extensive experience in A/B testing display and video creative
  • Aid in the creation of new initiatives, including audience research, ad trafficking, and building out campaigns
  • Ensure account and campaign structures adhere to best practices
  • Deep understanding of channel ad placements, specifically:
  • LinkedIn: Lead Gen and Document Ads promoting enterprise content including ebooks, whitepapers, on-demand videos, etc.
  • Meta: Feed, Stories, Reels, etc. and knowledge of how to setup and test bespoke creative for each placement
  • Design, implement, and track tests to validate bidding strategies, budget rules, landing pages, and ads
  • Identify areas of improvement for performance, process, ad ops, and/or technological efficiencies by staying atop the latest industry news and trends, including the newest ad formats, bidding methodologies, and beta programs


Skills and knowledge you should possess:


  • 4-5+ years experience in LinkedIn and Meta marketing with a passion for SaaS and digital marketing with some background in B2C
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Background in SaaS, subscription, digital service, e-commerce and agency is ideal
  • Highly proficient and certified in LinkedIn and Meta
  • Comfortable working with analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, or Looker
  • Understanding of pixels, ad tracking, and platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta CAPI,
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Highly analytical with deep knowledge of Excel. Extensive knowledge of Vlookup and pivot tables
  • Ability to work with a high level of efficiency and accuracy under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and fidelity to industry best practices


Duration: 12 months plus extension and contract to hire potential

Location: 100% remote but must live close to NYC for rare onsite get togethers

Compensation: $50-60/hr DOE
