Paralegal

We seek a dedicated Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our expanding practice. Successful candidates will possess an eagerness to learn, a friendly and professional demeanor, multitasking skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong ability to follow through. Candidates must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. No prior experience in our areas of practice is required, but general office experience is highly preferred. This role involves significant client interaction and a blend of paralegal and administrative tasks. ·        Attention to Detail: Precision is crucial when dealing with legal documents and transactions to avoid errors that could have serious consequences.

·        Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with clients, attorneys, real estate agents, and other parties involved in estate planning and real estate transactions is vital.

·        Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain organized files and documentation for efficient workflow.

·        Client Service Orientation: Providing excellent client service, including responsiveness, empathy, and professionalism, is essential for building trust and maintaining client relationships.

·        Software Proficiency: Familiarity with computer software and tools used for e-filing and recording, document management, case management, and research, as well as proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·        Confidentiality: Understanding the sensitivity of client matters and respecting client confidentiality is critical.

·        Adaptability: To be adaptable and able to handle new challenges and changing priorities is important. Analytical and strong quantitative problem-solving skills are essential. Being able to work independently and in a team environment is a must.
