Job: Medical Lab Scientist I

Duration –91 DAYS + EXTENSION POTENTIAL 180 DAY ASSIGNMENT and after that conversion if they have the opening and if you are a fit.

Location: Gresham OR

Shift: M-F 8am- 5pm, rotating weekends occasionally.

We also have a role in Silverton OR and Portland OR.


Eligibility:

U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position


Note:

  • ASCP or AMT certification preferred- not required
  • Generalist Med Tech: coag, hem, ua experience required with some blood bank

Job duties:

1 – Is this for and Medical Lab Technician [2 year MLT degree ] or Medical Lab Scientist / Medical

Technologist [4 year BS] or are you open to either? OPEN TO BOTH

2- Please confirm if ASCP or AMT certification is required. [If required, are you open to eligible

/registered candidates?] Preferred but not REQUIRED

3- Are you seeking a generalist [proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis,

Coagulation] or are you seeking a Micro Lab worker with Molecular background?

GENERALIST with some blood bank

4- What department will this technical position support? [Micro lab, Core lab, DNA sequence, etc.]

CORE LAB

5- Is Blood Bank experience required for this role? PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED


Education: BS+ EXPERIENCE, BSMT, or ML
