The Production Factory is a creative production company established in 2004. We are looking for a full time Producer to join our growing team in the New York office. You will be producing stills & motion mainly for fashion and lifestyle clients coming from both the US and Europe. We’re looking for someone dedicated and passionate who will be excited to grow with our US division. This role requires the candidate to be on site 5 days a week and will allow for growth within the company.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ability to take a shoot brief from the Executive Producer and prioritize and manage a ‘to-do’ list.
  • Working with Global Heads of Production or Executive Producer on financial processes from building budget proposal and project briefing, to supplier engagement, billing and closing jobs.
  • Travel when needed & sometimes at short notice.
  • Liaise closely with clients to keep project running smoothly.
  • Organization of all shoots including overseas, on both small and large-scale projects.
  • Communicate and manage delivery schedules with the Global Heads of Production or Executive Producer & client. 
  • Ensure that all shoots are produced as efficiently as possible and remain within approved budget. Communicate any risks to the budget prior to spend.
  • Plan, prioritize and manage workloads across multiple productions at any one time.
  • Strong ability to manage casting briefs, castings, and casting schedules.
  • Attend, lead, and manage location Scout/Recce’s. Handle all location permits.
  • Manage and book all crew/talent logistics and travel.
  • Deliver production packs of risk assessments, release forms, film permits etc.
  • Book creative teams, transportation, visas, carnets.
  • Book and manage equipment for all crew and departments.
  • Liaise with local production company for onsite production needs.
  • Generate and own call sheets.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ensure all accounting is completed efficiently; communicating fully with our accounts team, allocating all invoices, and managing all cash and credit card spend ensuring copies of receipts are kept at all times.
  • Any other such duties that may be required from time to time relevant to your role.


Must Have:

  • Exceptional experience/ability to manage shoot productions both in studio and on location.
  • Strong ability to manage a heavy workload under pressure by effectively prioritising, planning ahead and overseeing multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Good track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms and multiple sets.
  • Experience in project budget management and scheduling.
  • Previous experience of sourcing relevant industry suppliers.
  • Experience dealing directly with clients/agents.
  • Have a positive, can-do outlook.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Share Point, Google Docs, and Key Note.
  • Communicate clear and effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Be unafraid to ask to questions / ask for help.
  • Must take initiative and be proactive in every aspect.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and reach the best possible outcome for both the company and its clients.
