Regional Vice President, Contracting

Regional VP, ContractingBecome a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Regional VP, Contracting manages the development, operations, and results of a health plan. The Regional Vice President, Contracting will be responsible for all contract negotiations in the Pacific Southwest Region including, CA, NV, AZ, CO, NM, HI. The Regional VP, Contracting will establish long-range goals, objectives, and plans, monitor financial and operational performance, and coordinate activities of senior managers and their respective functions in the region.Required QualificationsBachelors DegreeExtensive leadership experience in the healthcare industryProven track record of driving operational performance improvementProven experience developing multi-product strategy at the market level or higherExcellent verbal and written communications skillsExperience leading the end-to-end contract negotiation process through closure for all types of providers (physicians, hospitals, post-acute care facilities) and delegated specialty servicesComprehensive knowledge of health plan finance and the compensation arrangements between health plans and providersKnowledge of risk arrangements and ability to influence these arrangementsSolid track record of hiring and developing talent and preparing associates for roles of broader and greater responsibilityMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesMust live in and have the ability to travel as needed in the designated region: CA, NV, AZ, CO, NM, HIPreferred QualificationsMasters DegreePrefer residence in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver or Las VegasTravel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humanas offices for training or meetings may be requiredScheduled Weekly Hours 40Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $203,400 - $279,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
