Our digital and mobile products are in the hands of over 100 million sports fans worldwide, and used by 200+ sports clubs in the NFL, NBA, Liga MX, MLS, NHL, AFL (Australia), F1 venues, and more.


THE ROLE.

YinzCam is looking for a sports-minded Web UI/UX Designer who has a passion for website design, user-centered design, typography, and visual storytelling for sports.This is a fast-paced, deadline-filled role, with a significant amount of time spent in the delivery of web pages, web graphics, wireframes, and other visual materials to our sports clients and to our internal product owners.


As a Web UI/UX Designer at YinzCam, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing low-fidelity and high-fidelity website designs for sports clubs across the world.
  • Designing statistics visualizations that are compelling for Match Centre and Game Center experiences.
  • Designing different journeys/looks, including match-day, non-matchday, Championship, kit-launch, etc.
  • Creating visual site-maps and user-journey diagrams to describe the user flows in your designs.
  • Creating and maintaining a library of UI components for sports-team websites.
  • Designing closely with product managers, web developers and testers.


THE REQUIREMENTS.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in designing using Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in implementing designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in creating responsive/adaptive design.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in designing to comply with accessibility/WCAG guidelines.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in building websites for a multi-lingual audience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX principles, usability, and composition.
  • Experience in designing websites for sports, including awareness of the common vocabulary of sports, e.g., understanding of sports statistics for soccer, familiarity with key sports milestones such as kit-launches.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, including attention to detail, in terms of grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, and formatting.
  • Appetite and ability to thrive in a high energy fast-paced digital environment.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow career in the area of digital products in the sports industry
  • Willingness and ability to work the non-traditional hours of the sports industry.
