UI Developer

 

We are looking for a talented UI Developer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for design, possess superior visual design skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. In this role, you will work alongside a team of other visual designers, UX designers, UX researchers, and engineers to produce high-quality work. You should be able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

· Create high-fidelity mockups to articulate requirements and workflows to the team.

· Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes for easier understanding of complex interactions as needed.

· Ability or familiarity with writing and/or conducting usability tests on proposed and developed solutions with end-users to validate iterative hypotheses.

· Ensure developed solutions are usable with assistive technology and meet accessibility standards.

· Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies and vocalize progress, impediments, and ideas.

· Work with other designers to ensure designs meet interaction and visual design standards from a systemic level.

· Seek peer review of work and be receptive to team commentary.

· Keep abreast of advancements in visual design and UX methodologies and best-practices.

· Establish and promote visual design guidelines and standards.

 

 

Requirements

· Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio

· Proficiency with visual design and wireframing tools (Axure strongly preferred)

· Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to interaction design

· Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders

· Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

· Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

· Formal training in Graphic Design, Visual Design, UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related

· Experience working on an Agile team preferred
