Position – Drilling supervisor - HPHT
Location: Kuwait
Experience: 10+ Years
Qualifications: Degree/ Non-Degree
Job Description:
• Develop drilling and workover programs, including analysis, hydraulics, torque and drag, BHA design, casing design, directional planning, and cement design.
• Oversee rig equipment through inspections, audits, and commission tasks.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives, ensuring rig performance meets KPIs.
• Provide support in pre-spud meetings and critical drilling/workover operations.
• Detect pressure drops using PerformView Standpipe signatures, addressing issues promptly.
• Manage high pore pressures, utilizing high-density fluids and detecting active volume changes.
• Apply Landmark software for Trip Load and Stress Factor Analyses to inform safe drilling parameters.
• Apply technical expertise in hydraulic optimization to prevent pipe issues.
• Successfully drill 16,000+ ft HTHP, H2S & CO2 wells in the Gotnia formation.
• Conduct tests in Gotnia/Hith Anhydrite cycles using temporary completion tubing and DST.
